SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS

Overarching all of our programs is a firm conviction that a return to Biblical values and principles is the answer to society’s needs.  Spiritual ministry is accomplished through:

  • Introducing the Christian way of life to the community

  • Nurturing new believers in their Christian walk

  • Promoting spiritual growth and unity among team members

  • Making Christian literature available

  •  Supporting all activities with prayer

  •  Discipleship

SKILLS TRAINING AND JOB CREATION

Living Grace aims to work closely with Living Way who provide employment to the homeless.

  • Life skills such as budgeting and financial responsibility training

  • Provision of work for some street people in the service industry; as painters, street cleaners and in the area of maintenance and greening of park areas

  • Various components of relief aspects managed by street people themselves, thus providing more self responsibility. Such activities include assisting with the cooking of a midday meal for all the street people, cleaning and maintaining the venue, etc.

  • Recycling programs can be entered into and the street people themselves encouraged to actively participate in collecting recyclable goods such as bottles, tins, plastic bottles, paper, etc.

  • Developmental,  Psychological, health and basic educational workshops
